A couple weeks ago I entered a bald eagle poetry contest for a festival in a nearby town. Today I got it back in the mail, and I won 1st place. Woot! This is my third year entering the contest. First year I got 3rd and last year I also won 1st. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any other contestants...it is a pretty small town. But it's pretty fun, and I'm happy. Yay!

I am so excited!! A few days ago I bought a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, and I'm finally learning how to use it! I was getting discouraged at first, but now it's getting to where I can draw pretty similar to what I'd do on paper. Ah, how I love technology! So new fancy cartoons coming soon! Starting right now actually, cuz I finished my first one tonight.
