This was a joint effort. My friend Rose took this photo and asked me to edit it for her, so this is the result.
Edited in Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 and Corel Painter Essentials 3.

i don't know...it's a tree along a highway in oregon. i assume someone started throwing shoes in it and then people kept it up.
