Miles To GoA river have I to travel
For what purpose I do not know
But here I am, heading downstream
Thrusting the oar through the water
I propel my wood raft forward
With miles to go before I sleep

Numerous arbors have I past
Willows with river-kissed branches
Widowmakers growing massive
But no matter what tree I pass
I remain the lone sojourner
With miles to go before I sleep

Knowing that I must continue
Devoid of all hesitation
I bid these fine arbors farewell
As my raft drifts through the water
I stare into the distance
With miles to go before I sleep

Water lilies (white roses)Beautiful flowers so white and so pure
Floating on water and seem to allure
White roses which smell so sweet
Look down they’re below your feet

Nymphs sing their songs to protect
The broken heart from their queen
Because she died after one reject
The love that she gave, which was unseen

Old fairytales entwine around the flowers
And Water lilies are their names
Embedded the love in wonderful frames
Their roots are tall and strong as towers

As calm and beautiful as they are
Just like them you’ll become a star
You’ll love someone who accepts you
And that one will love and accept you too

Like lilies you can be strong
But also calm as where they swim
Though if you stay with them for long
You might hear the nymph’s hymn

Their melodies are only heard in the night
Listen carefully and you will hear
Dreams which let you shed a tear
Mysteries will shine so bright

The Lady of the NightWhen the moons cries, and the swans laugh
And the birds have stopped singing again
The beasts are in burrows, down they've lain
The lake fills with tears
Not disturbed by man, no midnight train
To paint new fears.

Though mind may run, our hearts will tire
The world around one big campfire
The wolves will howl, but they're all liars
They wake us up in spite
But no sounds nor cares would dare disturb
The beauty of the night.

The rain might fall upon our eaves
Our hearts will beat in fright
The shadows cast by fallen leaves
Our muscles loose and tight
But stars will shine, no troubling dreams
Can find us in their light
For now we're safe, wra

SpringStrong are the clutches of ruthless winter
Yet force of new life, it pushes through

With a clear cry, a song of impatience
To see the next day, and one after it, too

Wings are dried in the growing season's sun
Then off you take as the spring breezes hum

A song of beginnings
a song of new life

Now take the first step
and conquer the skies

Breathing SnowBlack pearls as eyes you have
too soon to catch a breath
too soon to call us we
who I am
is what you'll be

A longing call
between the mountains
and winter forests;
silent yet present
never ending scream
of forgotten souls

Out of red mouths
and blue eyes
how they shine
between the clouds
how they cry
without a sound

No need to count your frozen fingers
between seablue velvet
bury your cold body
into warm snow
bury your head down

We pinned our dreams into the sky
placed them between the stars
to watch them from far
while we die

The Sound of Falling SnowWhen wolves start their walk, the babies weep,
The crescent Moon is incomplete.
-
A ubiquitous sound of snow is falling,
Echoes of a silent wind brush against the breathing,
While the trees practise their dancing.

Has the compass forgotten where its pointing?
Why have the birds ruined their patterns of flying?
A group of starving cubs are wheezing and shaking.

The compassionate plants have ceased their growing,
To admire the drowsy sound of snowing,
And absorb the moon in its gradual showing.

The pond has forgot how to display its rippling,
And the fish are unable to show themselves swimming,
But their direction is seldom hidden.

The mamm

What am I?Day comes
I run away
I cartwheel to the ground below
and dark comes
I vault back into the sky.

ButterflyThe vibrant sun enlightens your wings,
Twitching and fluttering constantly,
You fly past a bird who sings,
Dismissing its calls nonchalantly.

Searching for fresh, colourful flowers,
You get along well with bees,
Staring at the sky for what seems like hours,
Your beauty could bring the sun to its knees.

Always free to roam where you must,
No one tries to capture you,
For you will completely turn to dust,
And there's nothing anyone can do.

Flutter by, my little butterfly,
And ensure that your mission will be completed,
Always ask people how and why,
And never, ever become defeated.

CirclesSettling autumn under heavy snow.
No wheat left to sow.
Branches frozen in soft ice.
Slowly opens, your tired eyes.

Breathless cold, still crisp.
Sun dancing, across morning mist.
Serenely does the nature sleep.
Autumn does no longer weep.

Fading life streams away.
Fighting to seize the day.
Living longer the less that dies.
Nature sleeps, and no longer cries.

What is lost will soon be once more.
Heating slowly from the core.
Blossoms blooming in renewed might.
Shows that darkness, will succumb to light.

HurricaneRain drizzles softly against my window pane,
The wind is like a lion. Branches snap
Signs fly, giving me plenty to write with.
Deaths occur yet I am immune; this time.
It’s a story on the television,
Effects I only see and hear.
I’ll head to bed, with everything I need
And wake up with it still here.

The Moons Sacred GroveThe Moons Sacred Grove

Deep within the windswept vally below,
Beside the twisting river pool doth stay,
An old gnarled tree, the ancient willow,
Beacon of the past, it will ever lay,

Covered with soft green mossbeds, cloaked in vine,
Hidden deep away under the night sky.
In a place where the sun does rarely shine,
In a mythic grove where no bird dare fly,

Where the moon doth fall into graceful sleep,
When she hides her face from the morning sun.
This is a place we must forever keep,
Hidden, safe, from the sights of anyone,

So that no harm may ever come inside,
This great place where magick will ever hide.

Shooting Stars I
Stars descending, shedding rays;
Wandering throughout an endless maze.
With each a cloudless night prolongs
Pushing further back the dawn.
II
The mermaids drink their tears away,
Weeping,longing for the bay.
As Comets fall on the shore
The merfolk flee to the ocean's core.
III
With the land on fire,
And the waves rolling higher,
Stars are getting lost.
Water turns to frost.
IV
The moon falls slowly out of the sky;

Goodbye ToI swim too far
fly too high
I forgot to say
“GOODBYE”
(Why?)

Listen to our
blood run
side by side

I throw my hands
to
the rusty red sky

It's so cold
so dangerous that
I can't STAY
I run away from “ME”(?)

but I can't
feel
I'm in your DREAM

I will HIDE
from
them tonight

I take my soul
and
throw it FAR away

24A copper coin rises
Behind a horizontal scar in the air
Like memories of red september
It bleeds over the edge of the world
Like dripping ink
On bleak-blue paper
And all around
Quiet holds firmly
Unto everything
No sound emitted
Except shrill notes
Carried across the wind
By feeble tea-stained wings
The rustling of grass
And trees wriggling
Their long, crooked fingers
And I imagine they call it
"The dawn of time"
Because it was then
As every dawn is now
And has been
Since us
Because the sunrise
Brings faint memories
Of a land long lost
Before the tyrants woke up
But the magic dissolves
Into the breeze
The tiny particles fly off
And are burn

Mountains HighMountains High

Mountains high and valleys low,
Sweeping sparkling vales.
Fairies just like butterflies,
In all the stormy gales.

My eyes are wide in awe and fear
At this amazing sight.
Only once have I seen
Something with such stunning might.

Rivers running, bubbling streams,
Mermaids swim like fish.
I wave to one passing by
As she blows me a kiss.

The sun shines down on me
Like stars do to the earth.
And on this sunny shining day
Am I convinced of my own worth.

Mountains high and valleys low,
Sweeping sparkling vales.
Just the place to find one’s self
With no confining rails.

Eagle's Lullaby

A tree stands by the water’s edge
Tall and proud and strong
And on a limb there sits a nest
And from this nest a song

It doesn’t sound like much at first
Just chirps and squeaks and cries
But listen closely and you’ll hear
A tale from the skies

It all begins with two young chicks
At their parents’ side
Learning all they need to know
To live and to survive

Fly high and free, and eagle says
Take every chance to dive
Eat many fish so you will grow
And proudly you will thrive

As great bald eagles you are seen
As symbols of a nation
Power, honor, strength we have
Also determination

We have survived throughout the years
Through trials caused by man
And like the people of this land
We always rise again

As long as you are in this nest
There’s no need for alarm
We’ll guard you from all predators
And keep you safe from harm

Soon you’ll fly away from here
And leave this place to roam
But you will come again someday
Because this is your home

And you will tell your own eaglets
Of our nobility
As thermals carry you along
You’ll bear our legacy
